Normal Operation
During an open operation, the power sliding door (PSD) module grounds the unlatch actuator on circuit 1251 (YE/RD) to unlatch the sliding door. Circuit 1251 (YE/RD) is shared by the unlatch actuator and the detent switch as a ground return to the PSD module. If the PSD module detects a detent signal change on circuit 1251 (YE/RD), the PSD module powers the clutch and motor to open the sliding door. If the PSD module does not detect the detent switch to ground during self-test, DTC B2591 sets.

Possible Causes
- circuit 1227 (WH) open
- circuit 1251 (YE/RD) open
- circuit 1252 (GY/RD) open
- PSD adjustment
- PSD interior/exterior handle adjustment
- PSD contact
- PSD detent switch
- PSD latch actuator
- PSD remote control
- PSD module
