Rear Seat Backrest - Bucket Seat, Second Row

REAR SEAT BACKREST - BUCKET SEAT, SECOND ROW







Disassembly and Assembly
1. Remove the second row bucket seat.
2. Remove the second row bucket seat backrest.
3. Remove the 2 armrest bolt covers.
4. Remove the 2 bolts and the 2 armrests.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).







5. Slide the head restraint sleeve button and remove the head restraint.







6. Release the backrest J-clip.







7. Remove the hardboard panel from the backrest.

8. CAUTION: Use care when separating the seat upholstery from the hook and loop strip or the hook and loop strip can be torn from the seat backrest foam pad.

Separate the hook and loop fasteners.







9. Remove and discard the hog rings and roll the backrest trim cover up.







10. NOTE: The inboard and outboard head restraint sleeves are not interchangeable.

Squeeze together the tip of the head restraint sleeve and pull the sleeve out of the frame tube.

11. Remove the backrest trim cover.
12. Remove the backrest foam pad from the backrest frame.
13. Remove the LH and RH backrest inner shields.
14. To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.
