PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM (PATS) TRANSCEIVER







Removal and Installation
1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Remove the 2 bolts and the steering column opening cover.
3. Remove the 2 bolts and the upper and lower steering column shrouds.
4. With the ignition switch in the ON position, press the locking pin with a suitable tool and remove the ignition lock cylinder.
5. Remove the ignition lock cylinder cover.
6. Remove the PATS transceiver screw.
7. Disconnect the PATS transceiver electrical connector.
8. Remove the PATS transceiver.
9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
