Seats: Description and Operation

SEATS

Front Seats

The front seats can be equipped with the following systems:
- Manual seat tracks
- Power seat tracks
- Heated seats
- Memory driver seat
- Manual lumbar
- Optional power lumbar (driver seat only)


Memory Set Switch:






Memory Seats
This system allows automatic positioning of the driver seat to 3 programmable positions.
- To program position 1, move the driver seat the desired position using the seat regulator control switch. Depress the set button. Within seconds, depress button 1.
- To program position 2, repeat the previous procedure using the set button and button 2.
- To recall position 1, depress button 1. To recall position 2, depress button 2.

A position can only be recalled when the transmission selector is in PARK or NEUTRAL. A position may be programmed at any time.

Heated Seats
This system allows the electrical heating of the front seats on passenger demand.

The components of the system are:
- the seat heating elements, located in the seat cushion and backrest.
- the heated seat control switch, located on the seat side trim panel.
- a bi-metallic thermostat that is part of the seat cushion heating elements.

Manual Lumbar
The manual front seat backrest lumbar is adjusted by a knob mounted on the side of the seat cushion side shield.

Power Lumbar
The driver seat has an electro-mechanical front seat backrest pad adjuster. The lumbar switch adjustment is on the side of the seat cushion side shield.

Rear Seats

Second Row Seating
The following second row seating configurations are available:
- 40/20/40 rear seat
- 60/40 rear seat
- Quad buckets

Third Row Seating
A folding bench seat is available for third row seating. Third row seating is available only with 40/20/40 or quad bucket second row seats.
