Test D: The Autolock Does Not Operate Correctly

PINPOINT TEST D: THE AUTOLOCK DOES NOT OPERATE CORRECTLY

D1-D4:

Normal Operation
When autolock is enabled the vehicle security module reads inputs from:
- the digital transmission range (TR) sensor
- the stoplamp switch
- the door ajar switches (all doors closed)

The BPP switch and TR sensor inputs are received through the communications network. Once the vehicle security module receives all 3 inputs the doors automatically lock.

Possible Causes
- UBP communications network
- vehicle security module
- door ajar switches
