Rear Seat Backrest - Bucket Seat, Second Row
REAR SEAT BACKREST - BUCKET SEAT, SECOND ROWRemoval and Installation
NOTE: LH seat shown, RH seat similar.
1. Remove the second row bucket seat.
2. Remove the fold and tumble knob.
3. Remove the front and rear LH side shield screws.
4. Using a suitable tool, carefully pry the LH side shield for access to the recliner handle clip and remove the clip and the LH recliner handle.
5. Remove the remaining 2 screws and the LH side shield.
6. Remove the 2 screws and the RH side shield.
7. Remove the bolt and the safety belt buckle.
- To install, tighten to 58 Nm (43 lb-ft).
8. Disconnect the cushion release cables.
1 Release the cable from the anchor retainer.
2 Unclip the cable end.
9. Remove the rear backrest-to-seat track bolt.
- To install, tighten to 58 Nm (43 lb-ft).
10. Remove the 2 front backrest-to-seat track bolts and backrest.
- To install, tighten to 50 Nm (37 lb-ft).
11. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Make sure the safety belts and buckles are accessible to the occupants after installation.
