Attachment III - Technical Information

OVERVIEW

This program involves verifying that the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor harness connector is fully engaged onto the sensor.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1. Raise the vehicle on a hoist and locate the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor near the crankshaft pulley.





2. Push the harness connector in to make sure it is fully connected to the sensor, then lightly tug on the connector to make certain of a proper connection. See Figure 1.

3. Lower and release the vehicle.
