Pinpoint Test E: DTC B106B - Tire Pressure Sensor Low Battery

Normal Operation
If there is a fault in the TPMS system, such as a damaged sensor or module, DTCs are set in the SJB, the TPMS indicator will illuminate and the message center (if equipped) will display the appropriate message.

Each tire pressure sensor transmits a specific radio frequency to the SJB approximately every 60 seconds when the vehicle speed exceeds 32 km/h (20 mph). The tire pressure sensor is battery powered. This DTC can be set if a new SJB is installed and not configured correctly.

This DTC may be set when attempting to train a tire pressure sensor(s) with a low battery.
