Test I: DTC C1285 - Booster Solenoid Circuit Failure

Normal Operation
The active brake booster has internal solenoids that assist driver brake applications or that can apply the brakes when needed if the driver loses control.

Voltage is supplied to the solenoid from the anti-lock brake system (ABS) module along circuit CCA22 (GY/YE) and ground is provided back to the ABS module along circuit VCA22 (GN/BN).

Possible Causes
^ Circuit open
^ Circuit shorted
^ Active brake booster
^ ABS module

CAUTION: Use the flex probe kit for all test connections to prevent damage to the wiring terminals. Do not use standard multimeter probes.
