Normal Operation
The power liftgate (PLG) chime is controlled by the PLG module. Under certain conditions, the PLG module supplies 5 volts on circuit 2065 (GY/RD) and ground on circuit 2066 (PK/BK) to activate the chime.

Possible Causes
- PLG module DTC B236A chime output circuit open
- PLG module DTC B2940 chime output circuit short to ground
- Circuit 2065 (GY/RD) or 2066 (PK/BK) open, short to voltage or short to ground
- Chime
