SEAT CUSHION - SECOND ROW, BENCH

Disassembly and Assembly
1. Remove the second row bench seat.







2. Using a suitable tool, carefully pry the LH side shield for access to the recliner handle clip and remove the clip and the LH recliner handle.







3. If equipped, access the pivot handle clip from the bottom side of the LH side shield and remove the clip and the LH pivot handle.
4. Remove the 4 screws and the LH side shield.
5. Using a suitable tool, carefully pry the RH side shield for access to the recliner handle clip and remove the clip and the RH recliner handle.
6. If equipped, access the pivot handle clip from the bottom side of the RH side shield and remove the clip and the RH pivot handle.
7. Remove the 4 screws and the RH side shield.
8. Remove the bolt and the LH safety belt buckle.
- To install, tighten to 58 Nm (43 lb-ft).







9. Disconnect the cushion release cables.
1 Release the RH cable end.
2 Release the RH cable from the anchor retainer.
3 Release the LH cable end.
4 Release the LH cable from the anchor retainer.

10. Remove the 2 LH backrest-to-cushion bolts.
- To install, tighten to 58 Nm (43 lb-ft).

11. Remove the bolt and the RH safety belt buckle.
- To install, tighten to 58 Nm (43 lb-ft).

12. Remove the 2 RH backrest-to-cushion bolts and remove the backrest from the cushion.
- To install, tighten to 58 Nm (43 lb-ft).

13. Remove the 4 screws and the LH inboard and outboard riser shields.
14. Remove the 4 screws and the RH inboard and outboard riser shields.
15. Carefully remove the seat track assist spring, if equipped.
16. Remove the 6 seat riser-to-seat track nuts and remove the seat riser.
- To install, tighten to 50 Nm (37 lb-ft).

17. Remove the 8 bolts and the seat track.
- To install, tighten to 50 Nm (37 lb-ft).

18. Remove the bolt and the center safety belt buckle assembly.
- To install, tighten to 58 Nm (43 lb-ft).

19. Release the J-clips and remove the seat cushion trim cover and foam pad from the seat cushion frame.

20. CAUTION: Use care when separating the seat upholstery from the hook and loop strip or the hook and loop strip can be torn from the seat cushion foam pad.

Separate the hook and loop fasteners.

21. Remove and discard all the hog rings and remove the cushion trim cover from the foam pad.
22. To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.
- Make sure the safety belts and buckles are accessible to the occupants after installation.
