PINPOINT TEST C: INCORRECT TEMPERATURE GAUGE INDICATION

Normal Operation
The engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor is hardwired directly to the powertrain control module (PCM) through circuit 1102 (YE/LG) and circuit 359 (GY/RD). The status of the engine coolant temperature is sent from the PCM to the instrument cluster over the communication network.
