Lubricate
    Ball Joint
      Lubricate ball joints and steering linkage, if equipped with zerk fittings.
Inspect
    Wheel Bearing
      Inspect wheel ends for endplay and noise.
    Vehicle
      Perform Multi-Point Inspection (Recommended by Ford) Refer to Routine Service.
    Tires
      Inspect tires for wear. Rotation recommended for optimal tire life.
    Steering and Suspension
      Inspect steering linkage, ball joints, suspension and, if equipped, half shafts, driveshaft and U-joints.
    Exhaust System
      Inspect exhaust system and shields.
    Cooling System
      Inspect cooling system and hoses. Inspect engine cooling system and hoses.
    Brakes and Traction Control
      Inspect brake pads, shoes, rotors, drums, brake lines & hoses, and parking brake system. Inspect brake pads/shoes/rotors/drums, brake lines and hoses, and parking brake system.
Replace
    Oil Filter, Engine
    Fuel Filter
    Fluid Filter - A/T
      Change automatic transaxle filter (except vehicles equipped with a 6-speed automatic transaxle or a CVT).
    Fluid - A/T
      Change automatic transmission/transaxle fluid (except CVT).
    Engine Oil
    Coolant
      After initial change - change Premium Gold coolant every 3 years or 50,000 miles whichever occurs first.
    Cabin Air Filter / Purifier
      If equipped. Replace cabin air filter if equipped. Replace climate-controlled seat filter, if equipped.
    Air Filter Element
      Not required for Focus. Replace engine air filter.
