Removal and Installation

NOTE: When removing the 60 percent seat, the 40 percent seat must be removed first to gain access to the 60 percent seat riser-to-floor nuts and bolts.

All seats
1. Remove the 2 rubber bolt caps.
2. Remove the 2 front riser-to-floor nuts.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).

3. With the seat in the normal sitting position lift the seat cushion up for access to the rear seat attachment fasteners.
- For 60 percent seat, pull the safety belt buckles through the cushion opening.

40 percent seat
4. Remove the 3 riser-to-floor rear bolts.
- To install, apply threadlock and tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).

5. Remove the riser-to-floor rear nut.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).

6. Remove the 40 percent seat from the vehicle.

60 percent seat
7. Remove the riser-to-floor outboard bolt.
- To install, apply threadlock and tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).

8. Remove the riser-to-floor inboard bolt.
- To install, apply threadlock and tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).

9. Remove the 2 riser-to-floor rear nuts.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).

10. Remove the 60 percent seat from the vehicle.

All seats
11. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- When installing any seat-to-floor bolts or studs, apply threadlock.

12. Make sure the safety belt buckles are accessible to the occupants after installation.
