Rear Axle Housing Support Insulator

Special Tool(s):

Removal
1. Remove the axle assembly.

2. NOTE: Note the orientation of the notches in the insulator for alignment of the new insulator.

Using the special tool, remove and discard the differential front lower insulator.





3. Using the special tool, draw the differential rear insulator from the frame pocket.

Installation
1. Using the special tool, draw the differential rear insulator into the frame pocket.
^ There is no orientation requirement for the frame mounted differential rear insulator.
2. Insert the differential front lower insulator and make sure the notches are aligned as the original.





3. Using the special tool, install the differential front lower insulator.





4. Install the rear axle assembly.
