Rear Subframe: Description and Operation

REAR SUBFRAME

The rear subframe is bolted to the body and is used to:
- aid in structural support.
- provide mounting surfaces for the rear suspension control arms.
- provide mounting surfaces for the rear differential (all-wheel drive [AWD]).
