Transaxle Cooling

Transaxle Cooling
All vehicles with automatic transaxles are equipped with a transmission fluid cooler integrated to the A/C condenser, called a combo cooler, that cannot be serviced separately. The integrated transmission fluid cooler transfers heat from the transmission fluid to the outside air.

The transmission fluid cooling system consists of the following:
^ Fluid cooler pressure hose
^ A/C condenser/transmission fluid combo cooler (serviced as an assembly)
^ Fluid cooler return hose
^ Fluid cooler return tube
^ Optional cold weather cooler bypass valve (CBV)
