Suction Accumulator To Evaporator Line

SUCTION ACCUMULATOR TO EVAPORATOR LINE







Removal and Installation

All vehicles
1. Remove the suction accumulator. Service and Repair
2. Remove the A/C line bracket nut at the dash panel and remove the A/C line bracket.
- To install, tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).

3. Remove the ground strap bolt at the dash panel.







4. Disconnect the evaporator outlet fitting.
- Discard the O-ring seals.

Vehicles with 4.0L engine
5. Disconnect the evaporative emissions return line fitting at the intake manifold.







6. Remove the fuel line bracket bolt at the rear of the RH valve cover.







7. Remove the wire harness bolt at the rear of the RH cylinder head.







All vehicles
8. Remove the suction accumulator-to-evaporator line.
9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Install new O-ring seals.
- Lubricate the refrigerant system with the correct amount of clean PAG oil.
