Test V: The 4X4 High Indicator Is Never/Always On

PINPOINT TEST V: THE 4X4 HIGH INDICATOR IS NEVER/ALWAYS ON

Normal Operation
The four wheel drive control (4WD) module sends the 4x4 high command, over the high speed controller area network (HS-CAN). The instrument cluster (IC) monitors the command from the 4WD module and illuminates the 4x4 high indicator when the vehicle is in 4x4 high.

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- 4WD system concern
- 4WD control module
- Instrument cluster (IC)
