The power seat should move quietly during operation. Some noise is acceptable.

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Seat track alignment
- Seat track



PINPOINT TEST B: THE POWER SEAT MOVES BUT IS NOISY

B1 CHECK THE SEAT TRACK ALIGNMENT


- Check alignment of the seat track to the floor and to the seat.
- Is the seat track alignment OK?

Yes
IDENTIFY the cause and REPAIR as necessary. TEST the system for normal operation.

No
ALIGN the track. TEST the system for normal operation.
