ALL WARNING LIGHTS ON IN INSTRUMENT
CLUSTER WITH MULTIPLE CODES

FORD:
2008-2009 Escape Hybrid, Escape

MERCURY:
2008-2009 Mariner Hybrid, Mariner

ISSUE
Some 2008-2009 Escape, Escape Hybrid, Mariner and Mariner Hybrid vehicles may exhibit an intermittent Instrument Cluster (IC) issue where all the warning lights may turn on simultaneously (traction control, wrench, battery, engine, airbag, ABS, low fuel), all dashes in the odometer, and the speedometer gauge drops to zero. May set diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs): U155 4x4, U140 ABS, U0155 SJB, U0100 IC, U0114 IC, U0121 IC, U0151 IC, U0155 RCM. Vehicle typically does not exhibit drivability issues when concern is present. Tapping the cluster face or dash may sometimes correct the issue. Typically the concern is intermittent and may take another 150-200 miles (240-322 km) of driving for the concern to appear again. If the vehicle is shut off like this, then a no start may occur.

ACTION
Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition.

SERVICE PROCEDURE
