Float Drop

Fig. 5 Float drop adjustment:

1. Position upper body assembly in upright position, then place gauge, Fig. 5, against cast surface of upper body and measure vertical distance between cast surface of upper body and bottom of float. Do not place gauge on gasket.
2. To adjust, bend stop tab on float lever away from hinge pin to increase setting and toward hinge pin to decrease setting.
3. Install upper body assembly.
