Fig 5 - Carburetor:

1. Fig. 5-Remove upper body assembly and replace the Upper body gasket.
2. With the upper body inverted, measure vertical distance from the upper body cast surface and the bottom of float.
3. To adjust, bend float operating lever away from the fuel inlet needle to decrease the setting or toward the needle to increase the setting.
4. After adjustment, the float pontoon must be parallel with the gasket surface.
5. Check and adjust float drop, if necessary.
