CALIBRATIONS: All Station Wagons w/CFI

Low fuel pressure can cause poor engine performance. Low fuel pump pressure can be caused by the fuel pump discharge hose. The replacement hose is available only in the fuel pump noise reduction kit E3VZ-9B357-A. The hose supplied in this kit must be shortened when used in station wagons.

FIGURE 14:

^ Cut 1/2 inch from long end of new discharge hose (Figure 14, View A).
^ Install cut end of hose on fuel pump nipple.
^ Install other end of discharge hose on bracket nipple.
^ Install remaining parts of service kit as outlined in the instructions in Figure 14.
