Fast Idle Cam Clearance
1. With choke thermostatic housing in the rich position, cycle throttle to set fast idle cam.
2. Activate pulldown by applying an external vacuum source.
3. Cycle throttle and observe fast idle cam. Fast idle cam should drop to the kickdown step and fast idle speed screw should be opposite the V notch on the cam.
4. Align screw with notch on fast idle cam by rotating screw on fast idle cam lever.
5. Reconnect vacuum hose to choke pulldown motor.
6. Reset choke thermostatic housing to specification listed in Adjustment Specifications.
NOTE: Apply three 1/2 inch beads of MT13 sealant to each side of choke cap gasket adjacent to choke housing screw bosses, then position gasket to housing. Position choke cap and retainer to housing, then install break-away screws finger tight. Tighten each screw until head breaks off, then reinstall carburetor.
