Test 8, Testing Tach Wire

1. Disconnect and inspect module three wire connector and coil connector.
2. Using a suitable ohmmeter, connect one lead to ground and the other to the coil connector Tach. terminal. Measure resistance.
3. If readings obtained are one ohm or less, circuit is satisfactory. If readings are more than one ohm, repair short in tach wire.
