The #3, #4 and #5 extension housing bolts are now pre-coated with Dri-Loc Anerobic Sealant in production. Revised service procedures are provided for reinstalling these extension housing to main case bolts - removal and recoating of thread sealant.

FIGURE 17:

In the event service requires removing and reinstalling the extension housing bolts (#3, #4, and #5 bolts), refer to Figure 17 for locations.
The following is the revised procedure:

^ Wire brush the bolts and case bolt holes.
^ Remove as much loose sealant as possible.
^ Recoat the bolt with either Threadlock and Sealer (E0AZ-19554-A), Pipe Sealant with Teflon (D8AZ- 19554-A), or Teflon Tape.
^ Torque the bolts to specifications (16-20 lbs.ft. or 22-27 N-m).
