FUEL GAUGE READING INCORRECT

CALIBRATIONS: All except EFI and CFI applications.

This article is being re-issued to correct the operation and time. Vehicles built prior to November 8, 1983 may exhibit a 3/4 full gauge reading when the fuel tank is full. This condition is caused by the fuel tank sender unit float hanging-up on the tank top.

Replace the fuel tank with a new fuel tank part number E4ZZ-9002-B.
