Excessive door trim panel deflection on vehicles built prior to December 1983 may be serviced by replacing the existing motor and drive assembly with a new low torque motor and drive assembly.

Removal and installation instructions are outlined in the 1984 Car Shop Manual "B", Part 42-07-06.
