High-Pressure CFI
The high-pressure CFI system incorporates two fuel injectors mounted above the throttle plates in the throttle body. The ECA maintains control over the injection through pulse width time in the same manner as the EFI system. The most important difference between this and the EFI system is the location of the injector tip. Since constant atmospheric pressure surrounds the CFI injector tip, there is no need to vary the amount of fuel pressure in the injector.
