Loose or broken anti-theft latch shields may be serviced by replacing the anti-theft shield with a new shield and nylon push pin to positively lock the shield to the latch as shown in Figure 1.

NOTE: If the existing and-theft shield is not damaged, it may be reinstalled to the latch assembly by adding the nylon push pin to positively secure the and-theft shield to the door latch.
