Whenever a turbocharger is being serviced or replaced for any reason, inspect the turbocharger oil supply elbow for correct orifice size (Figure 9). The diameter of the drilled oil hole should be .1807/.175 inches. If the diameter of the drilled oil hole is less than .175 inches, replace the oil supply elbow fining (87514-S). Return the old fitting with the turbocharger assembly (Figure 10).
NOTE: Inspect the new fitting prior to installation.
