With Standard Cluster

1983-84 Cougar & Thunderbird

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove steering column shroud and instrument cluster trim cover.
3. Remove 6 instrument cluster-to-instrument panel attaching screws.
4. Pull cluster away from instrument panel and disconnect speedometer cable and cluster feed plugs.
5. Remove instrument cluster from vehicle.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
