Technical and Administrative Instructions

Repair (Refer to Exhibit I)

1. Remove the pink air control valve vacuum supply line connector from the valve.

2. Install a grommet (part number C6TZ-9697-A) over the valve nipple.

3. Reinstall the pink air control valve vacuum supply line connector.

Labor

Install Air Control Valve Vacuum Supply Line Grommet . . . . . . 0.2 Hr. Insert in Box "B" of Form 1864

Administrative Allowance. . . . . . . 0.1 Hr.

The 0.1 hour administrative allowance must be added before inserting the total labor time in the appropriate box of the Form 1864.

NOTE: RETURN COMPANY CLAIM COPY NO. 2 FOR REIMBURSEMENT.

Reporting of Completions

Upon completion of the required service, return the second copy of the Form 1864 completely filled out and signed by authorized dealership personnel. Only the Form 1864 will be accepted for reimbursement in this program. It is important that all claims be filed for all completed units so that our records will show completion. Please use the Direct Warranty Entry (DWE) system whenever possible to record your completions. Any problems encountered with this recall should be discussed with your FPSD Service Zone Manager.
