Ford Motor Company is voluntarily recalling (Emissions Recall 90E96) certain 1984 and 1985-Model Escort, Lynx and EXP cars equipped with 1.6L engines. Your car's engine may be releasing air pollutants which exceed Federal standards.


What the Dealer At no cost to you, your dealer will modify

little or no effect on your car except to reduce air pollutants.

Call Your Dealer Call your dealer without delay. Ask for a
service date and if parts are in stock.

If your dealer does not have the parts in stock, they can be ordered before scheduling your service date. Parts would be expected to arrive within a week.

When you bring your car in, give the dealer this letter.

If you misplace this letter, your dealer will still do the work, free of charge.
