9.Valance Replacement

Removal

1. Cover deck lid and quarter panels to protect painted surfaces.
2. Remove back belt and quarter panel belt moulding on either side per replacement procedure shown in sections 5 and 6.

3. Pull lower quarter area section outward and slide toward pulled section and remove from vehicle (Figure 10).

Installation

1. Select new valance.
2. Set valance in position while applying pressure down slide to opposite side, make sure that tabs are tucked under bonnet also that all four brackets securing valance are properly locked in place (Figure 10).
3. If back belt and quarter panel belt moulding are not damaged, replace using procedure shown in sections 5 and 6.
4. Remove all protective covers.
