CALIBRATION: 4-14B-R11 (2V Carburetor)

Vehicles which exhibit hesitation (intermittent) or rough running engine on warm engine start-up and driveaway (after engine hot soak) can be serviced by installing a 0.070" restrictor in the purge hose between the PCV valve and purge valve.

FIGURE 7:

Cut the purge line between the PCV valve and the purge valve and install a 0.070" restrictor (D8AZ-9K319-A) (See Figure 7).



Obtain an Authorized Modifications decal and list the date, dealer number and summary of alterations performed. Select a prominent place adjacent to the Vehicle Emission Control Information decal suitable for installing the Authorized Modifications decal. Clean the area, install the decal and cover it with a clear plastic decal shield.
