A new compressor bracket and discharge hose assembly is available to service vehicles which may exhibit a vibration or rumble/moan condition when the A/C is operated during low engine/vehicle speeds (1200-1500 rpm's). Refer to Figure 9 for hose routing and Shop Manual Section 36-47-1 for service procedures.

The new cast iron compressor bracket will be incorporated on November 1983 vehicles.
