CALIBRATIONS: All

The above drive concerns may be caused by a vacuum leak in the canister purge port hoses at the rear of the carburetor.

1. Check for missing rubber plug at end of vacuum hose to carbon canister purge ports - lower rear of carburetor (Figure 30).
2. If plug is missing install rubber vacuum cap, part no. 382444-S, with a few drops of adhesive, part no. D7AZ-19554-C as shown.
3. If original plug is intact, proceed with normal diagnostic procedures.
