When the front door trim panel map pockets are incorrectly used as a door pull handle, the upper aft ends of the map pockets flex and eventually break/separate from the trim panel.

Dealer technicians confronted with the subject condition should be advised to replace (do not attempt service) the complete door trim panel assembly with one of an improved design (the upper aft end of door map pocket has been redesigned to accomodate an additional hidden map pocket retaining screw [Part No. 56904-S2]). Refer to Figure 1 for screw location.
