Poor performance and rough engine idle may be due to an incorrect feedback solenoid gasket.

Remove the feedback solenoid from the carburetor, and ensure that the solenoid gasket has four holes (Figure 4). If the gasket has only two holes, remove and replace it with gasket number E1PZ-9S521-A.
