CALIBRATIONS: All w/CFI and high pressure intank fuel pumps.

Low fuel pressure can cause poor engine performance. Low fuel pump pressure can be caused by the fuel pump discharge hose. The replacement hose is available only in the fuel pump noise reduction kit E3VZ- 9B357-A. The hose supplied in this kit must be shortened when used in station wagons.
Figure 15 - ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP NOISE REDUCTION KIT 1980-85 LINCOLN/MARK VI, FORD/MERCURY WITH 302 CFI:
^Cut l/2 inch from long end of new discharge hose (Figure 15, View A).
^Install cut end of hose on fuel pump nipple.
^Install other end of discharge hose on bracket nipple.
^Install remaining parts of service kit as outlined in the instructions in Figure 15.
