After removing the cover as outlined above, remove the crankshaft front oil slinger. Crank the engine until the timing marks are aligned as shown in Figs. 24, 25 and 26. Remove camshaft sprocket retaining bolt(s) and washer. Slide both sprockets and chain forward and remove them as an assembly.
Reverse the order of the foregoing procedure to install the chain and sprockets, being sure the timing marks are aligned.
