Door Locks - Inoperative Due to Rustproofing
Article No. 85-12-2LOCKS - DOOR - INOPERATIVE DUE TO AFTERMARKET RUSTPROOFING
FORD 1985 ALL
LINCOLN-MERCURY 1985 ALL
A recent investigation of repairs for door locks and mechanisms has revealed that improper application of aftermarket rustproofing is a frequent cause for inoperative door locks where door lock switches, servos, and linkages had been damaged by door panel drilling operations and spray wand insertions. To prevent these problems, rustproofing application instructions and reasonable care should be followed.
