Drive concerns of misses/bucks and air induction hoot/noise may be caused by unheated and unmetered air if the air inlet tube between the air cleaner plenum and throttle body separates at the plenum outlet connector.

Prior to reinstalling the air inlet tube and clamp, install a No. 8 pan head sheet metal screw (3/4" long) through the air inlet tube and plenum outlet connector. See Figure 18 and 19.
