Headlamp Switch: Service and Repair

EXCEPT 1982---83
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Insert a thin flat blade under flange at side of headlamp switch to depress spring retaining clip. Twist blade to remove switch from one side.
3. Repeat step 2 for other side of headlamp switch.
4. Pull headlamp switch and electrical connector outward from instrument panel.
5. Disconnect headlamp switch electrical connector.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
