Fig. 3 Wheel bearing replacement:
1. Raise vehicle and remove front wheels.
2. Remove caliper mounting bolts. It is not necessary to disconnect the brake lines for this operation.
3. Slide caliper off of disc, inserting a clean spacer between the shoes to hold them in their bores after the caliper is removed. Position caliper out of the way. Do not allow caliper to hang by brake hose.
4. Remove hub and disc assembly. Grease retainer and inner bearing can now be removed.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
