Engine Calibration Label Identification
Attached to all vehicles is an Emission Calibration label. This label is attached to the left-hand side door or door post pillar. It identifies the engine year, calibration design, and design, and design revision level. These numbers are used to identify service parts and engine specifications that make up the emissions system designed for the vehicle.
Engine Calibration Code Definition:
Use the following to interpret the calibration code from the Emission Calibration Label.
1. Model Year
This number represents the model year in which the Calibration was first introduced.
Example: 4-03F-R00
2. Calibration Design Level
Represents the design level assigned to the engine.
Example: 4-03F-R00
3. Calibration Revision Level
Represents the revision level of the calibration (ROO). These numbers will advance as revisions occur.
Example: 4-03F-R00
