1985-88 THUNDERBIRD & COUGAR

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove lens assembly attaching screws and the lens assembly, Fig. 3.
3. Remove switch assembly attaching screws from instrument panel, pull switch from panel, then disconnect electrical connector. On vehicles equipped with auto lamp/dimmer switch, remove this switch before removing light switch.
4. Reverse procedure to install.
