Stabilizer Bar: Service and Repair

Fig. 1 Rear suspension. 1982---88:

1. Raise and support vehicle at frame side rails.
2. Support rear axle with a suitable jack and position axle so the shock absorbers are fully extended.
3. Remove bolts, nuts and spacers attaching stabilizer bar to lower arms, Fig. 1.
4. Remove stabilizer bar from vehicle.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
